David Walters - MD Executive Search
David's extensive knowledge and understanding of the international hotel industry stems from the senior Human Resource positions he has held over the last 20 years. Following a series of operational and personnel management roles with Grand Metropolitan Ltd he was appointed Personnel Director for the properties in the company's international division. He subsequently held the senior HR position in both Forum Hotels International and Inter.Continental Hotels for Europe and the Middle East.
Following a period of 3 years, during which David successfully developed his own HR Consultancy he re-joined Inter-Continental in the role of Director of Resourcing. In this role he was responsible for recruitment and management development on a worldwide basis for 120 Hotels in 75 countries. He was subsequently appointed Vice President HR, Europe, Middle East and Africa and following the sale of the company to Bass plc he was responsible for HR in Europe for the Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn and Express brands within the IHG portfolio.
